THE VALUE GOD PUT IN MAN

By: Pr. Joseph Balilaine

📖 Romans 12:1 | Luke 12:15

In a world where people are often valued by money, appearance, status, or achievements, God gives us a completely different perspective. Heaven does not measure a man by what he owns, but by what God placed inside him.

From the beginning, mankind was never created to be ordinary. When God formed man from the dust of the earth, He did something unique—He breathed His own life into him. That divine breath is what gave man identity, purpose, and eternal value.

1. Man Is More Than Dust

📖 Genesis 2:7

Man’s body came from the earth, but his life came from God.

This means your true worth is not found in your physical appearance, your background, your education, or your possessions. Your real value comes from the Spirit of God that gives life.

You are not just flesh and blood.
You are spirit, soul, and body.

Because God invested Himself in man, human life carries divine value.

2. The Enemy Attacks Identity First

Satan understands that a person who knows their identity in God becomes difficult to control.

That is why one of his greatest strategies is confusion—making people forget who they are, what they carry, and what God says about them.

When identity is lost, purpose becomes unclear.
When identity is restored, destiny becomes visible.

Never allow the world, your past, or your mistakes to define your worth.

3. Three Systems That Try to Devalue Man

A. Relativism

The world says, “Create your own truth.”

But God reveals that truth is found in Jesus Christ.

Without truth, people lose direction, identity, and purpose.

B. Materialism

📖 Luke 12:15

The world says your possessions determine your value.

God says life is greater than what you own.

Cars, houses, money, titles, and popularity may impress people—but they do not define your worth before God.

Your value is in Christ.

C. Normalisation of Evil

We live in a generation where wrong is often celebrated and righteousness is questioned.

But God’s standards do not change with culture.

Truth remains truth.
Holiness remains holiness.

4. Guard What God Put In You

What God placed in you is sacred.

Guard your spirit.
Guard your mind.
Guard your relationships.
Guard your calling.

Not everyone will recognize your value—but never reduce yourself to what God never called you to be.

Final Reflection

You are not valuable because of what you wear, what you own, or who knows your name.

You are valuable because God breathed His life into you.

And anything carrying God can never be ordinary.

🙏 You are priceless in Christ.
