WHY SALVATION IS VERY IMPORTANT
What many people go through is not suffering, but ignorance.
When truth is absent, bondage remains. Salvation opens our eyes to truth and brings light into our lives.
It brought back the lost identity.
Ephesians 1:4
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him.
Through salvation, God restores who we truly are. We are no longer rejected, forgotten, or condemned—we are chosen in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:21
That we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Salvation removes confusion.
Understanding your identity helps you know:
- What to do
- When to do it
- Where to be
- How to do things
Losing identity causes people to live below their purpose and act outside God’s will.
Salvation took away the fear of death.
Hebrews 2:14–15
Through Jesus’ death, the power of death was destroyed, and we are delivered from lifelong bondage caused by fear.
Jesus conquered death, so the believer now lives with hope and confidence.
God transferred us from darkness into light.
Colossians 1:13
He delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of His Son.
Salvation is a divine transfer:
- Darkness → Light
- Bondage → Freedom
- Fear → Peace
- Sin → Righteousness
- Rejection → Sonship
Salvation gives eternal life.
John 3:16
Whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Salvation is not only for today—it secures our eternity with God.
Salvation gives peace with God.
Romans 5:1
Being justified by faith, we now have peace with God through Jesus Christ.
No more separation—through Christ we are reconciled.
CONCLUSION
Salvation restores identity, removes fear, brings truth, transfers us into God’s kingdom, and gives eternal life.
