My Personal Testimony in the Lord Jesus/My Journey in Life
My name is Apostle Muwanguzi Betty, and my life is a living testimony of God’s grace, faithfulness, and restoring power. I was born on October 10, 1984, in the Eastern region of Uganda, into a family of ten children. Growing up, poverty was a constant companion. Because of financial hardship, my education was cut short, and I was forced to step into adulthood far earlier than I should have. At just fifteen years old, I began working simply to survive.
During one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life, I experienced deep pain and trauma through betrayal, rape, and an unexpected pregnancy. I was young, broken, and carrying wounds that felt too heavy to bear. Yet, even in that darkness, I had to find the strength to live and to provide for myself and my child. Life was a daily struggle, marked by tears, fear, and uncertainty, but somehow I kept moving forward.
In February 2002, when I was eighteen years old, everything changed. I encountered the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and in that moment, I surrendered my life to Him completely. That encounter became the foundation of my healing and transformation. At the age of nineteen, I clearly received God’s apostolic calling upon my life to preach the Gospel, open churches, and lead His people. Though I still carried pain from my past, God began to show me that my wounds would not be wasted.
Through years of mentorship, prayer, and preparation, I grew in faith and obedience. In 2009, I was officially ordained into ministry. Along the way, God healed my heart and taught me that His grace is sufficient and powerful enough to turn the deepest pain into purpose.
In 2021, following God’s divine instruction, I founded Flowing Christ’s Love Global Ministries. The ministry was birthed out of obedience and compassion, with a vision to raise young leaders, restore hope, and nurture faith in Christ. What began as a simple step of faith has grown into a ministry of over 200 members, all to the glory of God. Every life touched is a reminder that God is still working miracles.
My journey is not just my story it is proof that your past does not define your future. I am living evidence that no matter how broken rejected, or forgotten you may feel, God can rewrite your story. If you have faced poverty, betrayal, or pain, I want you to know that there is hope. God specializes in restoration. From the ashes of my past, He raised a calling, a ministry, and a life of purpose. I stand today to declare that through faith, obedience, and God’s unfailing love, it is possible to rise again.
